Yes! Part of the purpose of our Community events is to help you find people you can trust and collaborate with. That might be a co-founder, a service provider, a mentor or something else. Do make sure that you do a background check on anyone you want to collaborate with. We think all Trep House members are kings and queens, but we can’t guarantee that their resumes are accurate.

Trep House partners with other providers, co-working spaces and other organizations to offer specific programs. In many cases, these will be open to members of the partner organization and/or the general public. Only Trep House members, however, get access to the full available suite of Community opportunities.

All of Trep House’s Community events require participants to affirm that they will treat all members with respect. All events are moderated, and participants who hurt or attempt to hurt others will be dealt with.

We don’t use Facebook groups or other functions because some people are concerned about attracting people with bad intentions, or having family or employers see their comments. We use other platforms to facilitate that connection, including Tribe.

Trep House is primarily designed for Black and disadvantaged or underrepresented founders who are under 40 years old. If you’re older than 40, you’re welcome to join, but you may find that some of the cultural references that occur, especially in Community events, might not resonate with you.
